SWRLS is delighted to announce that it has awarded a grant of £9,160 to 'Re-Imagining Libraries: Bath', a cross-sector research and public programme project led by Bath Spa University Library in collaboration with Bath & North East Somerset Libraries, University of Bath, Bath College and House of Imagination.
The funding will be invested into a research project to develop a new and inclusive consultation methodology in partnership with Rising Arts Agency. The SWRLS-funded research project sits alongside a complementary initiative for a programme of inspirational talks with an international platform for which the project partners are seeking funding from Arts Council England.
The work will benefit all SWRLS member libraries through a consultation process that can be replicated and shared, a project microsite hosting a series of legacy films, consultation skills developed by library staff and a methodology that can be taken forward into other collaborative projects.
