Hidden Treasures - Pilot Project update

SWRLS put a call out over the summer for SWRLS-Member Libraries to join a discussion via Basecamp towards submitting a SWRLS CIO-led bid to the NLHF Dynamic Collections campaign for funding to make publicly accessible archival or other 'treasures' libraries hold which need investment to see the light of day.

Thus far, five library organisations have responded to the call:

Bath & North East Somerset Libraries

Falmouth University - FXPlus Library

Gloucestershire Libraries

Somerset Libraries

Wiltshire Libraries

The next step will be for SWRLS Coordinator to moderate an informed discussion to arrive at a set of outcomes to meet the criteria of the NLHF Dynamic Collections Fund; to agree an overall theme which will make such an application coherent to the Funder and to support the bid which SWRLS will write on behalf of its membership. This process will begin in the second half of September.

If your library would like to join the Pilot discussion it's not to late to submit an expression of interest. Simply email Heather Norman-Soderlind Coordinator1@swrls.org.uk before 15 September 2022.
